Dirty Mojito!

Is the world's current state of affairs causing you to hanker for a stiff drink? If so, I get it! No judgment here. Sometimes you just need the perfect cap off to a crazy day! If you like a mojito, then this recipe will not disappoint. It is my personal recipe and my gift to you in these emotionally trying times.

Ingredients:

Clear Rum

Sprite

Brown sugar

Fresh mint

Fresh lime

I make this different ways especially if I am making it in bulk, but the best way to make them is one at a time.

Directions:

In a highball glass squeeze the juice from half a lime and drop in a lime slice. Toss in a tablespoon of brown sugar (I did not say it was good for you...). Then drop in 4-6 mint leaves (takes a lot of mint, so I grown my own). Once you have all these ingredients in the bottom of the glass, you need to muddle them together until the lime wedge is pressed thin and the mint looks wilted. Then pour an ounce or two of rum and top with sprite. The color will be a light tan color, almost tea colored. Garnish with a mint bouquet and lime circle to give the nose some love as you enjoy each sip.
